日本のギタリスト。Dr.Kの愛称。
サムピックを使用したフィンガー・ピッキングとカントリーミュージック、ルーツ・ミュージックのフィーリングを活かしたギター・スタイルが注目を集め、吉田拓郎、大瀧詠一、高橋幸宏など多くのアーテストのサポート・ミュージシャンを務める。
89年にファースト・アルバム『Dr.Kの調律』でソロ・デビュー。自身のバンドDr.K Projectを率いて活動。
他、数多くのドラマの音楽制作、CF曲制作も。
