日本のミュージシャン。ボーカル、ギター、テルミン、キーボード、プログラミング、ベース、ドラムス等を演奏するマルチ・プレイヤー。
小沢健二らと共に「フリッパーズ・ギター」を結成、解散後、自身一人で構成される 『CORNELIUS（コーネリアス）』名義で活動。
オノ・ヨーコと息子のショーン・レノンらとのバンド「YOKO ONO PLASTIC ONO BAND」や細野晴臣、坂本龍一、高橋幸宏からなる「Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO)」のサポートメンバー。
