フランスの女性作曲家。

生まれながらの病気と闘いながら、作曲活動をすすめ、若手作曲家の登龍門、ローマ大賞を女性として初めて受賞。

1918年に24歳の若さで亡くなる。

遺作「ピエ・イェズ」は病床で音楽教師の姉ナディアの口述筆記によって書かれたもの。

また、姉のナディアは、リリの死後、多くの門下生をもつ指導者となる。ピエール・アンリ、オリヴィエ・シャルリエ、キース・ジャレット、エグベルト・ジスモンチ、クインシー・ジョーンズ、レナード・バーンスタイン、アストル・ピアソラなどが門人。
