イギリスのミュージシャン、コンポーザー。
ケルト・ロック・バンド「ザ・ポーグス」の創設メンバーの一人。
演奏時間の長い曲として有名な「ロングプレイヤー」のベースとなる曲の作者。この曲は2000年1月1日から2999年12月31日の1000年をかけて演奏されるように作られた曲。ベースとなる20分20秒の曲をコンピュータが簡単なアルゴリズムに基いて処理、この膨大なバリエーションを連続して演奏する。
